(Guptill) Stanley of Great Cranberry Island, ME. He was married to Leah Jeanette (Sawyer) Stanley. Captain "Lew" died Jan. 29, 1957. His house was located on "The Pool", and he had a large boathouse there as well. The boathouse blew down in the storm of 1978. He was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge at Southwest Harbor. He is buried in the Stanley Cemetery on Great Cranberry Island. [show more]
